CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

 

Construction on the Empire State Line project began in March of 2021 and is expected to be complete in June of 2022. Crews working on the project for NEETNY will be active in the following towns at various times throughout the project’s construction phase. All activities are in support of the Empire State Line project and are closely coordinated with our project team. In June and July, crews will be active on the transmission right-of-way (ROW) in Alden completing restoration.

Project personnel will be working out of an approved project laydown site on Walden Ave.

In June and July, crews will be active on the transmission right-of-way (ROW) in Elma to complete restoration at various locations throughout the ROW.

In June and July, crews will be active on the transmission right-of-way (ROW) in Lancaster completing restoration.

In June and July, crews will be active on the transmission right-of-way (ROW) in Newstead completing restoration.

In June and July, crews will be active on the transmission right-of-way (ROW) in Royalton completing restoration.

Crews will also be working on the transmission ROW south of Dysinger Switchyard to complete a variety of post-construction tasks on several structures off of Block Church Road.
